Heavyweight Pocket Tees that weigh in at a whopping 9 oz. This tubeknit fabric, knit on antique loopwheel machines in Wakayama, Japan, is thick but also incredibly soft, making these tees closer to short-sleeve sweatshirts, perfect for layering or cool summer nights.
The olive version of this tee is made from unbleached cotton that we’ve then garment dyed; this is not an off-the-rack color. This specially made fabric undergoes no tension during knitting, resulting in a soft but strong fabric, and is among the best T-shirt material made today.
The pocket is inspired by the work shirts made by Reliance Mfg. Co. of Chicago starting in the 1910sba d features our own design with a flap and now bartacks for added strength.
