Blue In Green is very pleased to be hosting from Japan Toys McCoy founder and owner, Hiroshi Okamoto, as he exhibits his original paintings of Steve McQueen from his iconic role in "The Great Escape" and more.
Hiroshi Okamoto is an illustrator, painter, and one of the founding members of The Real McCoys brand. As an avid collector of vintage clothing, particularly military leather jackets, he has established himself as a leading authority within the vintage and military reproduction world. He is a personal friend of the McQueen family and has been painting the movie star and reproducing his movie costumes for many years. Toys McCoy have been granted the exclusive rights to distribute McQueen movie memorabilia, and Blue In Green are the only authorized retailer of these products in North America.
Join us for the reception party with drinks and snacks on Thursday July 19th, from 5-8pm, as we launch the first ever exhibition of his artwork and hand-painted leather jackets in the US.
The paintings will be on view from July 19th through 29th, with limited edition prints available for sale.
