The Outer Parka is entirely hand‐cut and hand‐stuffed one at a time. During the hand‐cutting process, the ripstop fabrics are individually hot cut as it makes edges of the fabric melts and seals so that they do not fray. After each piece of the fabrics are cut and sew together, each channel row is hand‐filled with a specific amount of the duck down measured in grams. Among all their down jacket collection, the Outer Parka has the largest amount of the duck down. As the high loft duck down cluster is so soft and airy that it flows around the air, it keeps the jacket itself soft and airy as well even though it has the largest amount of the down to maintain the high grade of warmth. Due to its quality, the Outer Parka has been regularly worn by the outdoor enthusiasts and expedition teams since the 1970s when they go climbing, and their jackets had been used at nearly every top mountains around the world, including the Mt. Everest. With the warmth and comfortability of the jacket, it has been often used as a sleeping bag when they sleep during the climbing.
