In the garment history, “Guayabera Shirt” was named after a shirt that was originally worn by guava tree farmers in Cuba. Over time guayabera shirts have been adopted to be traditional, formal wear throughout many Latin cultures including weddings. Monitaly’s Guayabera Shirt respectfully preserves classic details of the guayabera shirts, such as iconic front four pockets which were originally used to collect guavas, while the cut has been reworked to be more relax for urban fashion-savvy guys. Special additional details include a round hem with hem facing and western back yoke.
