BEAMS x Reebok activation event at BIG

Last Wednesday we had the pleasure of hosting BEAMS x Reebok activation event at the shop.

We’ve held close ties to the BEAMS family for some years now, and thought it would be a wonderful idea to open our home base to them to help promote their recent collaboration with Reebok.

The idea behind the shoe was to revamp the classic silhouette of the Reebok Club C and make it into a chunkier skate shoe, equipped with thicker laces, thicker tongue to extra cushion, and a rubber toe cap.

For the event, we had an exclusive activation tshirt designed by our good friend Nao Pho. (Thank you Nao!) With the purchase of the tshirt, each guest received complimentary pairs of the collaborative Reebok.

During the event we supplied pizza from local pizza shop, Lucia Pizza, and served Dassai Sake. We had friends Wil Whitney and Kevin Yoo supply the music on our back stage throughout the night. A big thank you to every helping hand that made this event possible, from our friends at Beams and Reebok, to the night’s DJ’s, and our very own Blue in Green staff.

This was a great way to kick off 2024 in the store, and we look forward to having more family filled and supported events throughout the year and for the years to come.
