BROADWAY JUNCTION
WHEN YOUR HOME BASE IS IN SOHO, it’s always a breath of fresh air getting to more residential neighborhoods of NYC, where the sky is bigger and the trees seem much more ubiquitous. On a grey late October day, we hopped on the M train toward Brooklyn to meet Omar Egas for our latest fall edit. In new denim from ONI and PRPS NOIR as well as new arrivals South2West8, Omar gave us a quick tour of his neighborhood, Bushwick–which, as it happens, is also the neighborhood where he grew up. And considering the number of people we passed who stopped to give him a warm hello, we could see how well-loved he is.
