The B-15C was adopted next to the B-15B, which was the first version of the B-15 series to use nylon. Speaking of the B-15C, Air Force Blue is the symbol color of the Air Force, but there is also an olive drab B-15C. Like its predecessor, the B-15B, the front oxygen tab is made of leather, but the front zipper, which was previously offset to the right, has been moved to the center. The spec number was MIL-J-6251, the same as the Air Force blue B-15C, and the olive drab B-15C was ordered by the Army for use by helicopter pilots. Because it was ordered by the Army, it did not initially have the Air Force mark insignia, but it was later worn by Air Force pilots, and the Air Force mark was transcribed at that time.
